Been adding more and more books to the site lately, with some solicitation lists up and running. DC's September 2009 line-up is online, along with IDW's July solicits, Image's June and July books, and for good measure, Archie's July, September and November trades.

So in looking to provide more info per trade, I've added a new section to each trade description, henceforth known as the Edition Detail.

Nothing incredibly fancy, actually. Just a box of minutia which may or may not play a part in making or not making a purchase. Details such as a trade's publisher (okay, you got me - I've been listing this for a while), imprint or studio label, title series, universe, page count, etc. I won't always have all of the details for every book, but most are covered. I hope you find it useful.

Despite my freshly minted state of disbelief, I've managed to update Cheap Ass Trades' almighty search code, now equipped with the uncanny ability to find books not only by title, but by creator credit as well. So searches for - say - Stan Lee, Gene Colan, Peter David, Ed Brubaker, etc, will now return trades associated with these namesakes.

So to celebrate the up-and-coming Watchmen movie - regardless of the subsequent legal battle now raging between movie studios - Things From Another World is offering a wealth of Watchmen related goodies and collectibles for sale, including this Watchmen trade paperback for 50% off cover. If you're like me and you prefer your Marvel comics better when they can stand on their own (literally, in this case), Tales of Wonder is offering a great selection of Marvel hardcovers at 50% off cover price. And we're not talking those thin-mint Premiere editions either (not that there's anything wrong with that) - what they have going is a decent mix of non-Masterworks, non-Omnibus stuff.
