In case you haven't noticed, I've been busy adding Eisner award winning trades and trade series to the dbase as of late. Lots of great stuff to be had, including many fine stories now long out of print and becoming difficult to find. Which suits CAT perfectly, as the site can do all the digging for you, finding the best possible price in the aftermarket.

Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Hulk, Daredevil, Tomb of Dracula, Howard the Duck, Captain America, and lots more, for $8.24-$14.99 each! Get 'em before they're gone!

New retailers added!

I've recently added two new online retailers the price comparison engine - DeepDiscount.com and Borders.com.

Deep Discount is a great source for trades at reasonable prices - made even more reasonable by their free shipping offer, with no minimum!

Borders may not provide the same discounts (you'll need to order $25+ to qualify for their free shipping offer) but their graphic novel and manga selection is massive. They also offer a free ship-to-store option, which is great if you have a local brick-and-mortar near by.

So in looking to provide more info per trade, I've added a new section to each trade description, henceforth known as the Edition Detail.

Nothing incredibly fancy, actually. Just a box of minutia which may or may not play a part in making or not making a purchase. Details such as a trade's publisher (okay, you got me - I've been listing this for a while), imprint or studio label, title series, universe, page count, etc. I won't always have all of the details for every book, but most are covered. I hope you find it useful.

Despite my freshly minted state of disbelief, I've managed to update Cheap Ass Trades' almighty search code, now equipped with the uncanny ability to find books not only by title, but by creator credit as well. So searches for - say - Stan Lee, Gene Colan, Peter David, Ed Brubaker, etc, will now return trades associated with these namesakes.
